This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and fulfill all responsibilities within assigned projects
• Assist the Security Operations and Engineering Team in preserving the security integrity of essential applications
• Provide around-the-clock support for critical security incidents that require immediate attention
• Ensure security tools operate at the necessary service and availability standards
• Develop operational practices, tools, and processes for swift identification of security events and risk reduction
• Plan, coordinate, and execute duties to meet project objectives while delivering technical guidance
• Contribute to the establishment of security requirements, standards, procedures, and reference architectures
• Create and maintain incident-response playbooks and detection logic for AI/ML security
• Monitor and safeguard generative AI systems, large language models (LLMs), and AI-driven applications
• Participate in the formulation of AI governance frameworks and related policies
• Assess the security implications of new AI/ML tools and platforms prior to their production deployment
• Engage in AI threat intelligence initiatives
• Conduct analyses following incidents and devise preventive strategies for AI-related security issues
• Set up AI/ML telemetry and logging for security detection and forensic investigations
• Review and confirm the security properties of AI models, their resistance to adversarial attacks, and data privacy safeguards
• Experience or capability to contribute to Security Operations and Engineering for critical applications
• Experience in creating and managing AI operations tools, pipelines, and telemetry for secure AI/ML implementation
• Experience in engineering operational practices, tools, and detection pipelines for AI/ML security incidents
• Familiarity with information security tools, response playbooks, systems, requirements, standards, procedures, and reference architectures
• Ability to engineer detection logic and playbooks for issues such as prompt injection, model poisoning, data exfiltration, and adversarial attacks
• Competence in monitoring and securing generative AI systems, large language models (LLMs), and AI-powered applications
• Knowledge of AI governance frameworks, responsible AI practices, and security standards specific to AI
• Ability to assess the security implications of AI/ML tools and platforms before they are deployed in production
• Understanding of AI threat intelligence, emerging vulnerabilities in AI security, and attack strategies
• Experience configuring AI/ML telemetry and logging for security event detection and forensic analysis
• Ability to review and validate the robustness of AI models against adversarial inputs and ensure data privacy protections
• Availability for 24/7 response to critical security incidents
• Must possess authorization to work in the United States; 66degrees is unable to sponsor or transfer visas
