Security Engagement Lead

📋 Description

• Manage client relationships and ensure the successful execution of Microsoft security consulting projects that encompass Entra ID, Microsoft 365, and Azure.

• Act as the primary technical consultant for enterprise clients, shaping solutions, defining the scope of engagements, and guaranteeing accurate and transparent delivery with measurable outcomes.

• Balance business development and trusted advisory roles with hands-on architectural leadership.

• Guide cross-functional teams and align Microsoft security solutions with client goals.

• Serve as a technical advisor throughout the sales process in collaboration with Account Executives.

• Identify opportunities, conduct client-facing demonstrations and workshops, and translate security needs into Microsoft solutions.

• Develop Statements of Work, respond to RFPs, provide level-of-effort estimates, and create presales solution architectures.

• Supervise delivery teams from project scoping to go-live, managing scope and delivery escalations.

• Build relationships with executive-level clients, translate technical results into business value, and nurture long-term partnerships.

• Assist in the design, implementation, and lifecycle management of Microsoft security services and reference architectures.

• Architect Zero Trust frameworks across cloud and hybrid environments.

• Establish comprehensive data protection, insider risk, DLP, and compliance frameworks using Microsoft Purview.

• Design and operationalize Microsoft Defender and Microsoft Sentinel for unified detection and response.

• Define device and application management strategies utilizing Microsoft Intune.

• Design integrations and automate processes using PowerShell, KQL, Graph API, and Bicep/Terraform.

• Mentor engineers and delivery teams; contribute to client roadmaps, executive briefings, and industry discussions.

• Define governance models, lifecycle policies, high availability, and monitoring strategies.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and over 7 years of IT experience, with at least 6 years concentrating on Microsoft security architecture, administration, and delivery across Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Azure.

• Proven success in leading large-scale enterprise deployments, migrations, and modernization initiatives within M365, Entra ID, and Azure (IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS).

• Extensive knowledge of Entra ID, including Conditional Access, MFA, Identity Governance, Privileged Identity Management (PIM), and cross-platform identity integration.

• Strong expertise in Microsoft 365 security and compliance, encompassing Microsoft Purview (DLP, Insider Risk, eDiscovery, Information Protection), Compliance Center, and EOP.

• Hands-on experience with the entire Microsoft Defender suite, as well as Microsoft XDR.

• Experience in designing and operationalizing Microsoft Sentinel (SIEM/SOAR).

• Proficient in using Microsoft Intune for endpoint management, device compliance, and application security.

• Robust understanding of Azure security and governance, including Azure Policy, Key Vault, RBAC, Secure Landing Zones, WAF, APIM, and Zero Trust principles.

• Practical skills in automation and scripting with PowerShell, KQL, Microsoft Graph API, and ARM/Bicep or Terraform.

• Strong comprehension of hybrid/multi-cloud architectures, virtualization, containers, encryption, data security, business continuity, and identity/access management.

• Experience with lifecycle management across M365 and Azure.

• Demonstrated presales expertise: SOWs, RFP responses, solution design, and client-facing workshops.

• Sedentary work.

• Significant movement of wrists, hands, and/or fingers for a minimum of 8 hours daily.

• Close visual acuity needed for computer terminal viewing and/or extensive reading for a minimum of 8 hours daily.
