This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +4 more states.
• Lead and execute identity-centric projects from initial scoping through to implementation and final outcomes
• Evaluate, design, and enhance Microsoft Entra ID / Active Directory settings
• Conduct assessments of Conditional Access Policies and perform identity hardening evaluations
• Design and provide guidance on PKI, certificate lifecycle management, and essential cryptographic controls
• Assist with Identity governance, MFA, PAM, Conditional Access, PIM, RBAC, and passwordless / FIDO2 projects
• Offer advice on securing modern identity platforms, including CrowdStrike Falcon Identity Protection, Microsoft Entra, Okta, and similar solutions
• Support clients in managing Non-Human Identity risks associated with service accounts, workload identities, API keys, and secrets
• Facilitate SecOps initiatives such as SIEM, SOC, ITDR, threat hunting, log ingestion, telemetry coverage, and alert tuning
• Conduct Security Architecture Reviews and technical evaluations
• Create actionable remediation strategies
• Mentor junior consultants and analysts, providing technical guidance
• Support presales efforts, including scoping discussions, solution development, statements of work, and technical presentations
• Generate customer deliverables and produce technical documentation
• Leverage emerging technologies, including AI tools, to address challenges and enhance business results
• Over 8 years of experience in cybersecurity consulting, engineering, or architecture with a proven track record of project ownership
• Extensive hands-on expertise with Microsoft Entra ID / Active Directory and M365 security
• Experience in implementing or managing IAM controls, PKI, and authentication technologies
• Strong understanding of Conditional Access, MFA, SSO, RBAC, PIM, PAM, and Zero Trust principles
• Experience supporting SecOps activities such as SIEM/Sentinel, SOC, ITDR, or threat hunting
• Proven leadership abilities, including leading projects, mentoring team members, and overseeing delivery results
• Strong skills in customer interaction and presales
• Capability to lead discussions and present to both technical and executive audiences
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple customer engagements simultaneously
• Availability during Eastern Time Zone hours is required
• Preferred: experience with VAR / solution provider business models and partner/vendor ecosystems
• Preferred: familiarity with enterprise IAM / IGA / PAM platforms like SailPoint, Saviynt, CyberArk, Delinea, BeyondTrust, Okta, or Ping
• Preferred: experience with CrowdStrike Falcon Identity Protection / Next-Gen Identity Security, ITDR, or FCS
• Preferred: understanding of NHI governance and AI / agentic identity security
• Preferred: experience with FIDO2 / passwordless authentication implementations
• Preferred: familiarity with Microsoft Sentinel, Defender, Purview, or Duo
• Preferred: experience in Azure and/or AWS cloud security
• A background in consulting or professional services is strongly preferred
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, SC-300, AZ-500, SC-100, or identity-specific credentials are preferred
• Primarily remote workforce
