Security Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Working in close collaboration with a unified account team to assess customer web architecture and provide optimal integration solutions.

• Ensuring customer satisfaction by emphasizing best practices and aiding in the development of a comprehensive web performance and security strategy.

• Promoting product and posture best practices while demonstrating thought leadership.

• Collaborating across departments to define requirements, manage scope, timelines, and risks, delivering high-quality service while ensuring customer engagement.

• Teaming up with Business Support, Sales, Engineering, Product Development, and Technical Support to address issues and implement ongoing changes.

• Identifying potential new product or service features that could enhance customer benefits.

• Engaging in internal projects to contribute to best practices and ensure continuous improvement in customer service delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience along with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.

• Have experience in a customer-facing role within the technology sector.

• Be knowledgeable about internet technologies such as IP networks, DNS and routing, HTTP, TCP, or web architecture.

• Exhibit expertise in Web Application security, Network security, API Security, SIEM, and AI Security.

• Demonstrate an understanding of common OWASP top 10 vulnerabilities and their implications for internet service compromise or attacks.

• Have experience with Cloud infrastructure technologies (Linode, AWS, GCP, Azure).

• Possess practical knowledge of Generative AI platforms, including Gemini and Co-Pilot.

• Be capable of analyzing customer web traffic and showcasing expertise in optimizing security posture.

• Have familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, PERL, JavaScript, as well as the overall DevOps framework and web development languages.
