Security Analyst Internship

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Acquire practical experience with GRC compliance tools like Drata and security tools such as CrowdStrike.

• Utilize Claude and AI functionalities to generate vulnerability dashboards and reports.

• Observe team members to gain insights into security and compliance workflows.

• Employ JIRA, Confluence, and other project management tools to monitor compliance tasks and projects.

• Gather and assess technical security evidence for audits.

• Assist in phishing simulations, email security, and penetration testing programs.

• Use SAST tools to monitor and report vulnerabilities.

• Suggest and create workflow automations for GRC and security operations.

• Take ownership of assigned security projects and independently contribute to deliverables.

• Oversee audit evidence collection tasks in Drata.

• Evaluate vulnerability findings and track remediation efforts.

• Develop hands-on familiarity with AWS cloud security operations and vulnerability assessments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a current student enrolled in a college or university program, or have graduated within the last 12 months.

• Undergraduate, postgraduate, or associate degree programs are accepted.

• Must have a reliable, high-speed internet connection available during working hours.

• Must be available for regular office hours in US continental time zones, Monday to Friday.

• Full-time commitment of 32 to 40 hours per week for a duration of 20 weeks.
