This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Prepare and evaluate SEC filings (Forms 10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, and proxy materials), incorporating financial statements, footnotes, and MD&A, while ensuring adherence to SEC and GAAP standards.
• Oversee the Company's SEC Reporting tools.
• Collaborate with various departments and managers concerning reporting processes and the information necessary for accurate and timely disclosures.
• Conduct research and draft formal technical accounting memos on intricate or non-routine transactions, such as revenue recognition under ASC 606 and the classification of debt/equity transactions.
• Stay updated on new and emerging GAAP, FASB, or SEC standards; lead assessments of their impact and facilitate implementation.
• Assist in the Company's SOX/ICFR program, including preparations for SOX 404(b) and the design and testing of controls.
• Act as a primary point of contact for external auditors during quarterly reviews and the annual audit process.
• Draft and maintain formal accounting policies, ensuring consistent application throughout the organization.
• Support the closing process in complex or judgmental areas as necessary.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, Legal, and Investor Relations on disclosure-related matters.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA license is preferred.
• 5–8 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally a combination of public accounting (Big 4 or large national firm) and industry/SEC reporting experience.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
• Proven experience in researching and documenting technical accounting positions.
• Prior experience in a publicly traded company is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with disclosure management tools (e.g., Workiva) and XBRL is a plus.
• Experience with NetSuite and FloQast is a plus.
• Exceptional written communication skills — capable of translating complex accounting concepts into clear, defensible memos.
• Self-motivated, comfortable working independently in a remote, deadline-oriented environment.
