Junior Accounting Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Assist in the preparation of reconciliations for balance sheet and income statement accounts.

• Execute accounting entries, reclassifications, and adjustments while working under team supervision.

• Aid in the monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting closing processes.

• Support the analysis of account balances and movements, pinpointing any discrepancies.

• Maintain and organize supporting documentation for accounting accounts in a timely manner.

• Provide assistance for requests from internal and external auditors.

• Help in the preparation of accounting and management reports.

• Contribute to meeting internal deadlines and adhering to departmental procedures.

• Collaborate effectively with finance, tax, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other support departments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related discipline.

• Familiarity with accounting close routines in integrated systems.

• Understanding of CPCs and IFRS.

• Comprehensive knowledge of general accounting principles.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

• Knowledge of Power BI.

• Experience with SAP is desirable.

• Interest or experience in Power Automate, Power BI, VBA, SQL, or Python is a plus.

• Capability to manage large data sets and proficiency in VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and pivot tables is preferred.
