Seasonal Project Manager – 2+ months contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Facilitate translation project activities among relevant external resources, including translators, editors, proofreaders, DTP designers, and localization engineers.

• Evaluate client inquiries and determine the requirements for additional information.

• Create effective workflows and supervise the usage and upkeep of tools such as translation memories, style guides, and glossaries.

• Prepare and analyze files utilizing translation memory software, while generating cost estimates and project timelines.

• Negotiate budgets and timelines with vendors, and monitor the advancement of translation projects.

• Oversee multiple projects and clients concurrently.

• Keep precise and current management reports and translation databases.

• Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least three years of experience in the translation industry with a solid proficiency in translation tools.

• Skilled in the use of CAT tools.

• Capable of preparing and editing cost estimates and quotes.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Dedicated to providing professional customer service.

• Positive demeanor and a genuine team player with a clear sense of accountability.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and perform well under pressure in a dynamic environment.

• Energetic self-starter with initiative and a creative approach to problem-solving.

• Advanced computer proficiency, including MS Office and Internet applications.

• Fluency in English, with a preference for a second language.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.
