This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assess and score approximately 1,000–2,000 applications for the Global Navigator Scholarship.
• Analyze written responses, student information, and financial documents according to established rubrics and eligibility requirements.
• Review and verify financial documentation for any missing elements, discrepancies, or issues needing further investigation.
• Document scores, review outcomes, and necessary information in specified systems and tracking tools.
• Ensure consistent and objective scoring while adhering to productivity, accuracy, and review deadlines.
• Engage in mandatory training and calibration sessions.
• Implement feedback to enhance scoring consistency and precision.
• Address questions, documentation issues, and scenarios not covered by existing procedures.
• Uphold strict confidentiality regarding student, family, academic, financial, and scholarship information.
• Assist with administrative or operational projects within the High School Study Abroad team as required.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Report to the Associate Manager, Sales Operations.
• Exceptional attention to detail and excellent reading comprehension.
• Capability to objectively apply established rubrics, criteria, and procedures.
• Strong critical-thinking and analytical abilities.
• Proficiency in identifying discrepancies, missing information, and documentation challenges.
• Ability to maintain accuracy and concentration during repetitive, high-volume tasks.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Capability to independently manage workload and adhere to deadlines.
• Ability to accept and apply feedback regarding accuracy, quality, and scoring consistency.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Comfort in working with written, numerical, and financial data.
• Basic technical skills and the willingness to learn online application systems, databases, spreadsheets, and other technology-based tools.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel is preferred.
• Prior experience in application review, assessment, grading, auditing, quality assurance, education, administration, financial aid, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience in reviewing scholarship, admissions, academic, grant, or similar applications is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote setting.
• Professionalism and discretion in handling confidential information.
• Availability for full or part-time work during the specified scholarship review period.
• A background check, education verification, and employment verification are required as conditions of employment.
• Full-time hourly position providing up to 40 hours per week.
• Consistent 37.5 paid hours weekly.
• Employees will not be scheduled to work on CIEE-observed holidays.
• Flexible Friday shift options: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM or 12:00 PM–8:00 PM.
• All shifts based on the employee’s local time zone.
