• Conduct field inspections and undertake related tasks such as interpreting maps and aerial imagery.
• Measure fields and storage containers.
• Communicate crop loss findings with farmers.
• Gather information on crop damage and document details.
• Relay loss information to accurately assess potential damages.
• Deliver outstanding service to customers, including both agents and policyholders (farmers).
• Employ company software to electronically send claims information directly from the field to RCIS.
• Adhere to regulatory standards and company rules, policies, and procedures.
• High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• A minimum of 6 months of experience in the agricultural sector.
• Crop Adjuster Proficiency Program Certification (CAPP) must be acquired within 180 days from the date of hire.
• Reliable personal transportation and willingness to travel within the designated territory.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Capability to walk in agricultural fields for distances up to 3 miles.
• Ability to climb agricultural storage bins up to 25 feet in height.
• Lift weights ranging from 25 lbs. to 50 lbs.
• Work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions and temperatures.
