Freelance Claims Handler (P&C)

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Receive and process claims notifications.

• Oversee the administrative and operational follow-up of files.

• Provide support to policyholders throughout the claims journey.

• Analyze the documents and information necessary for claims management.

• Manage communications with stakeholders, including policyholders, experts, insurers, and third parties.

• Conduct subrogation and recovery actions when required.

• Ensure adherence to procedures and processing timelines.

• Update tracking and management tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in Property & Casualty (P&C) claims management.

• Solid understanding of claims settlement processes.

• Experience in front office, back office, or recovery/subrogation handling is advantageous.

• Exceptional written and interpersonal communication skills.

• Strong organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.

• Capability to manage multiple files at the same time.

• Proficient with IT tools and software.

• Experience in home, motor, or multi-risk insurance is highly regarded.

• Registration as a self-employed contractor (auto-entrepreneur) is required.

• Must be based in France.

• Availability for at least 35 hours per week.
