Claims Examiner – Workers Compensation I, NE Jurisdictions

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Evaluating and handling claims through well-structured action plans to achieve a timely and appropriate resolution by investigating and collecting relevant information to assess the claim's exposure.

• Facilitating negotiations for claims settlements within the assigned authority.

• Keeping the claimant and client informed about claim activities and processing updates.

• Reporting claims to the excess carrier and addressing requests for direction in a professional and timely manner.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in claims management or an equivalent combination of education and experience is necessary.

• A High School Diploma or GED is required.

• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.

• Professional certification relevant to the line of business is preferred.

• Knowledge of Licensing / Jurisdiction: MA, RI, VT, NH, CT
