This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +2 more states.
• Conduct thorough investigations, evaluations, and adjustments of multi-line liability claims (including property damage and bodily injury) in line with CCMSI standards and state regulations.
• Oversee claims related to commercial vehicles, trucking exposures, and third-party liability matters.
• Assess coverage, evaluate liability, and formulate defensible claim strategies.
• Examine medical, legal, and vendor invoices for accuracy and reasonableness; negotiate any discrepancies as necessary.
• Set, monitor, and modify reserves in accordance with exposure and authority guidelines.
• Negotiate settlements with claimants, attorneys, and representatives in alignment with client expectations.
• Engage, coordinate, and manage defense counsel or other external vendors when appropriate.
• Identify and pursue opportunities for subrogation.
• Maintain detailed and timely documentation of claims, manage diaries, and provide financial reporting.
• Assist with excess reporting requirements and client communication needs.
• Provide consistent, high-quality service while upholding professionalism and integrity.
• An active adjuster license in your home state is required (multi-state licensing preferred).
• Experience managing a multi-client desk and adapting to various client expectations.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in multi-line claims (Auto, Commercial Auto, GL, BI) is required.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and decision-making capabilities.
• Proven ability to manage diverse claim types and adapt quickly throughout the workday.
• Capacity to analyze coverage and communicate claim decisions clearly and professionally.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining strong accountability.
