Scrum Master

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Assist Agile teams by facilitating ceremonies, managing the backlog, tracking metrics, eliminating obstacles, and collaborating with stakeholders.

• Enhance Agile/Scrum practices and ensure a consistent rhythm of planning and delivery.

• Aid in risk and dependency management while fostering continuous improvement within the teams.

• Lead Agile ceremonies including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Retrospectives, Reviews, and Backlog Refinement.

• Collaborate with Product Owners to maintain a healthy, prioritized, refined backlog that is ready for execution.

• Monitor team progress, velocity, and delivery metrics.

• Identify, manage, and assist in the removal of blockers and impediments.

• Maintain and communicate risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies (RAID).

• Coordinate team activities and address inter-team dependencies.

• Support release planning and sprint execution.

• Cultivate and sustain relationships with stakeholders.

• Participate in and represent teams during quarterly Program Increment (PI) Planning meetings and other equivalent Agile ceremonies.

• Mentor the team on Agile best practices and encourage continuous improvement.

• Manage interdependencies among Facility Operations Agile teams, including Safety and Sustainability streams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in roles such as Scrum Master, Agile Facilitator, Agile Lead, or a similar capacity.

• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum practices and ceremonies.

• Proficiency with Azure DevOps (ADO) or comparable Agile tools.

• Experience in backlog management, sprint planning, and monitoring team deliveries.

• Familiarity with sprint and release planning as well as tracking Agile metrics.

• Capability to monitor metrics, velocity, risks, and team dependencies.

• Experience in stakeholder management and proficient communication with both business and technical teams.

• Knowledgeable in managing risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies (RAID).

• Advanced proficiency in English.

• Agile certifications such as PSM, CSM, or SAFe are a plus.

• Prior experience in environments with multiple teams and inter-team dependencies is preferred.

• Experience with Program Increment (PI) Planning or similar ceremonies is advantageous.

• Experience supporting Product Owners in prioritization, refinement, and backlog maintenance is preferred.
