Scrum Master

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning sessions, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

• Assist in maintaining and updating sprint backlogs, as well as burndown and burnup charts, along with agile metrics.

• Collaborate with the Product Owner during backlog refinement sessions.

• Identify and assist in the removal of impediments, escalating issues when necessary.

• Advocate for Agile/Scrum values, principles, and best practices.

• Monitor and communicate sprint progress to stakeholders.

• Manage agile tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, and Trello.

• Cultivate a team culture that values collaboration, respect, and continuous improvement.

• Support coordination of cross-team dependencies.

• Engage in continuous learning and apply Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe fundamentals with guidance.

⛳️ Requirements

• 0.5–2 years of experience as a Scrum Master, coordinator, or in a similar support role managing multiple projects; internships or academic project experience is also valued.

• Fundamental understanding of Agile/Scrum principles and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

• Preferred Scrum Master certification such as CSM or PSM I, or currently pursuing certification.

• Proficient communication skills in English at a B2 level or higher, and in Spanish.

• Familiarity with Jira, Trello, Azure DevOps, or other agile project management tools.

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

• Bachelor's degree in progress or completed in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Exposure to Kanban or SAFe methodologies is a plus.

• Experience supporting technical or software development teams is advantageous.

• Basic understanding of velocity, burndown, and lead-time metrics is beneficial.

• Prior involvement in agile transformation initiatives is a plus.
