Scrum Master

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies for one or multiple AI or technology delivery teams, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.

• Collaborate with Product Managers, Product Owners, Engineering, Data, and AI teams to define priorities and sprint objectives.

• Manage delivery planning, milestone tracking, dependencies, risks, issues, and overall project coordination.

• Identify and eliminate blockers related to technical dependencies, data accessibility, integrations, security assessments, and shared services.

• Monitor velocity, throughput, cycle time, and unplanned work to uncover risks and opportunities for improvement.

• Safeguard sprint commitments and assist teams in navigating shifting priorities.

• Coordinate efforts across teams, stakeholders, and external partners.

• Provide insights into project status, risks, dependencies, and timelines for delivery.

• Relay progress and potential challenges to technical teams and senior stakeholders.

• Conduct retrospectives and lead initiatives for continuous improvement.

• Mentor teams on Agile best practices, accountability, ownership, and collaboration.

• Assist in project governance and provide executive-level reporting for AI initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in roles such as Scrum Master, Agile Delivery, Project Management, or comparable positions.

• Proven experience working with technical, data, AI, or software engineering teams.

• Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.

• Strong project management capabilities, encompassing planning, risk assessment, dependency management, and stakeholder communication.

• Experience in managing multiple projects, teams, or workstreams simultaneously.

• Excellent facilitation, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.

• Aptitude for identifying blockers and proactively driving them towards resolution.

• Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and conveying delivery status, risks, and trade-offs.

• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar software.

• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments where priorities may shift rapidly.
