Manager, Scrum Master

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Oversee team activities, including the coordination and facilitation of Scrum events.

• Identify and resolve obstacles or challenges that impede team progress.

• Provide coaching and mentorship to both the team and stakeholders.

• Encourage collaboration and effective communication across various teams.

• Assist the Product Owner in managing and prioritizing the product backlog.

• Formulate strategies to track and measure team progress using established metrics.

• Advocate for self-organization and independence among team members.

• Champion continuous improvement initiatives to boost team performance and productivity.

• Establish policies and procedures for an agile governance framework.

• Partner with departments to create project management tools, tracking systems, communication platforms, and automation frameworks.

• Lead agile teams in communicating the roadmap for agile adoption and securing stakeholder support.

• Investigate emerging agile concepts to guide decision-making and enhance agile practices.

• Compile industry benchmarks and case studies to uncover applicable strategies and methodologies.

• Develop a repository of academic works, including research papers, journals, and publications on agile practices, Lean thinking, team dynamics, and organizational change.

• Determine project management tools and collaboration platforms to advance agile team productivity.

• Report on the progress and outcomes of agile initiatives.

• Foster cross-functional collaborations for sharing information and distributing resources.

⛳️ Requirements

• 7-10 years of professional experience.

• ICAgile Certified Professional (ICP) is mandatory.

• Strong skills in execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting).

• Proficient in business intelligence.

• Excellent collaboration and teamwork abilities.

• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills.

• Strong growth mindset (agility and personal development) capabilities.

• Bachelor's degree preferred, along with specialized training or relevant professional qualifications.
