This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

• Facilitate and execute Scrum events.

• Eliminate obstacles and encourage team collaboration.

• Assist the Product Owner in their responsibilities.

• Promote ongoing improvement within the team.

• Ensure the Scrum framework is implemented effectively.

• Mentor Scrum Masters and Product Owners on agile values, principles, and best practices in project/product management.

• Create budgets and develop resource planning strategies based on team velocity, historical data, and constraints.

• Assess the amount of work that can be accomplished within the proposed timelines of projects.

• Ensure risk assessments cover risk identification, mitigation strategies, and contingency plans for Scrum projects.

• Establish processes and procedures for Scrum regarding backlog management, prioritization techniques, and user story refinement.

• Anticipate team capacity and delivery capabilities for upcoming projects.

• Assist in creating a shared language and framework for team collaboration.

• Enhance team capacity and identify potential bottlenecks.

• Incorporate adaptability, transparency, and customer collaboration into departmental processes.

• 5-7 years of relevant work experience.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills.

• Proficient in fostering a growth mindset (agility and personal development).

• Skilled in execution and delivery (planning, implementing, and supporting).

• Certification as a ScrumMaster (CSM) is preferred.

• A Bachelor's degree is preferred, along with specialized training or relevant professional qualifications.
