Scrum Master

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Lead sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives for designated teams.

• Assist in charter reviews and team kickoffs for newly formed or developing teams.

• Record decisions and action items from ceremonies.

• Aid teams that are new to agile in implementing Scrum practices.

• Recognize and escalate any blockers that arise.

• Promote retrospectives and ensure follow-through on improvement commitments.

• Oversee Jira boards and maintain backlog health.

• Monitor and report delivery metrics using Jira dashboards.

• Deliver clear delivery status updates to stakeholders.

• Utilize AI-assisted tools for ceremony preparation, note-taking, and status reporting.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Scrum Master or in an agile delivery support role within a technology team.

• Proficient understanding of Scrum principles and ceremonies.

• Experience in running or co-facilitating Scrum ceremonies.

• Familiarity with Jira for sprint tracking, story management, and basic dashboard setup.

• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

• Proven ability to keep teams on track and fulfill commitments.

• Comfort in supporting teams as they develop their agile practices.

• Scrum certification (CSM, PSM I, or equivalent) is preferred.

• Experience aiding technology teams in Software Engineering, IT infrastructure, or enterprise settings is preferred.

• Familiarity with AI productivity tools or interest in automation is preferred.

• Experience in organizations with established agile standards is preferred.

• Working hours: 3:00 PM–12:00 PM IST.
