Scrum Master

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Act as the Scrum Master for all internal project teams.

• Deliver Scrum and project progress reports to senior management.

• Manage stakeholder relationships and communicate project performance, schedules, and resource allocation.

• Develop and maintain thorough project documentation.

• Oversee project scope, timelines, costs, modifications, risks, and liabilities.

• Formulate both short- and long-term plans, establish milestones, meet deadlines, and distribute resources effectively.

• Assign project tasks while ensuring availability and proper allocation of resources.

• Handle and prioritize multiple projects concurrently.

• Coordinate internal resources along with third-party vendors for successful project execution.

• Monitor project performance and evaluate the achievement of both short- and long-term objectives.

• Achieve budgetary goals and modify project constraints based on financial assessments.

• Organize sprints and tasks using Jira.

• Utilize project management software, including Jira and Asana.

• Work independently and adapt to a changing work environment.

• Engage with internal stakeholders to provide regular updates on IT projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience as a Scrum Master in a consulting or professional services firm.

• Strong interpersonal abilities to organize, motivate, and communicate effectively with teams.

• Exceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.

• Experience in product and/or software development processes.

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification.

• Knowledge of resource management, including human, financial, and asset resources.

• Familiarity with Agile methodology.

• Proficiency in Atlassian tools, including Jira and Confluence.

• Experience using project management tools such as Asana.

• Excellent written and spoken English skills.

• Preferred experience with IT projects.

• Preferred experience in entrepreneurial and startup settings.

• Must reside in a Latin American country.

• Required to work from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST.

• Must keep the camera on during virtual meetings.
