Manager, Scrum Master

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Facilitate and conduct Scrum events.

• Eliminate obstacles and encourage teamwork.

• Assist the Product Owner.

• Promote ongoing improvement.

• Ensure the effective application of the Scrum framework.

• Mentor Scrum Masters and Product Owners on agile principles, values, and best practices in project/product management.

• Develop budgets and resource planning strategies based on team velocity, historical data, and constraints.

• Assess the volume of work that can be accomplished within the proposed project timelines.

• Ensure that risk assessments incorporate risk identification, mitigation strategies, and contingency plans for Scrum projects.

• Establish Scrum processes and procedures for backlog management, prioritization techniques, and user story refinement.

• Anticipate team capacity and delivery potential for upcoming projects to set realistic expectations for product releases.

• Assist in establishing and implementing a common language and framework for team collaboration.

• Enhance team capacity and examine potential bottlenecks to proactively address challenges.

• Embed adaptability, transparency, and customer collaboration into departmental processes to foster continuous learning and experimentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–7 years of professional experience.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills.

• Growth mindset with a focus on agility and personal development.

• Proficient in execution and delivery skills, including planning, delivering, and supporting.

• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) is preferred.

• A bachelor's degree is preferred, along with specialized training or relevant professional qualifications.
