This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Plan, facilitate, and lead all Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, demos, board reviews, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Guided cross-functional teams as a SCRUM Master to ensure compliance with cGEP/cGMP standards.
• Ensure an effective breakdown of work by directing the decomposition of epics and stories into sub-stories, tasks, spikes, and other actionable items.
• Coach the team on Scrum principles and guarantee consistent adherence to Agile processes, fostering a high-performing and self-organizing team.
• Ensure that stories progress appropriately through all required workflow steps to maintain transparency and delivery momentum.
• Identify, eliminate, and escalate impediments that affect team productivity, while promoting focus on committed sprint work.
• Collaborate with Development Managers to enable effective planning, prioritization, and capacity management.
• Conduct retrospectives and drive continuous improvement initiatives based on team feedback and performance insights.
• Schedule and facilitate backlog grooming sessions to ensure the readiness of upcoming work.
• Assist in the development of delivery timelines and schedules in partnership with PMO, including capacity planning, resource loading, and forecasting.
• Evaluate resource capacity and proactively identify gaps or the need for additional resources; support resource balancing strategies as necessary.
• Work with clients and end users to clarify business requirements and ensure alignment with development output.
• Serve as a liaison between development teams and product management to ensure adherence to project processes, governance, and delivery standards.
• Monitor risks and delivery issues, escalating concerns beyond the development team as needed and driving resolution through appropriate management channels.
• A total of 10+ years of experience, including a minimum of 4+ years in a Robotic / Embedded / Manufacturing environment.
• Practical experience with new product introduction (NPI) & GMP and new process development from a SCRUM perspective.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical or engineering field.
• Strong working knowledge of Agile methodologies and the Scrum framework.
• Hands-on experience with Scrum and Agile tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Smartsheet, JAMA).
• Experience in managing multiple teams.
• Exceptional communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills.
• Proven ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional and distributed teams.
• Solid understanding of fundamental project management principles and practices.
• Scrum Master Certification (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster – CSM) is preferred.
