This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Deliver essential direct and indirect social work services to children and their families, focusing on their distinct psychosocial and emotional requirements.
β’ Collaborate with school or IEP teams to create thorough, customized treatment plans and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that include measurable social work objectives.
β’ Act as a systemic authority by providing staff with valuable insights into the cultural, familial, and societal elements that affect student behavior, academic success, and overall well-being.
β’ Spearhead mental health and behavioral interventions by formulating and executing positive behavioral intervention strategies and conducting comprehensive mental health assessments.
β’ Assist families and school personnel by offering parental support and guidance to promote effective school adjustment, alongside training educational staff on behavior management strategies and direct assistance as needed.
β’ Current Clinical Social Worker license (LCSW).
β’ Valid state license or certification for K-12 school practice (requirements may differ by state).
β’ At least one year of full-time, on-site school social work experience (internships excluded).
β’ Proven competence in all National SSW Practice Model domains.
β’ Proficiency in Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) frameworks, counseling, and psycho-educational evaluations.
β’ Strong communication abilities, particularly in engaging with diverse student populations, families, and school staff.
β’ Technologically adept with preferred experience in delivering telehealth services via virtual meeting platforms.
β’ Previous remote social work experience is highly preferred.
β’ Fluency in additional languages is a considerable advantage.
