This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Serve as the general manager for a designated sales territory encompassing Illinois and Indiana.
• Create and implement a thorough sales strategy aimed at achieving and surpassing student enrollment targets.
• Foster and enhance relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders, such as principals, teachers, counselors, and alumni, to position CIEE as the leading partner in global education.
• Proactively seek out and conduct extensive outreach to new schools to establish a sustainable sales pipeline.
• Lead, manage, and mentor direct reports (Enrollment Coordinators) to supervise the student sales process from lead generation through to student travel.
• Optimize conversion rates through effective communication and teamwork.
• Deliver captivating presentations to students, parents, and administrators, both virtually and in-person.
• Participate in extensive travel within your region during the September-February selling season to represent CIEE at conferences and within schools.
• Take responsibility for the complete student enrollment pipeline.
• Guide your team in managing their pipelines and converting leads into travelers.
• Maintain precise records of all sales activities and school relationship statuses within our CRM system (e.g., Salesforce).
• A minimum of 4 years of sales or related experience, showcasing a successful history of building strong client relationships.
• Experience in international education or related K-12 sectors is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Spanish is preferred.
• Proven experience in sales leadership or management roles.
• A strong entrepreneurial mindset with a demonstrated ability to develop a sales territory.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the capacity to present dynamically to large audiences.
• Proficiency in utilizing a CRM system (e.g., Salesforce) to organize and prioritize a sales pipeline.
• Willingness to be a flexible team player, demonstrating a passion for education and a belief in the significance of global citizenship.
• Willingness to travel extensively within your territory during the peak selling season.
