This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +1 more state.
• Serve as the general manager for a dedicated sales territory encompassing Manhattan, Bronx, Westchester & Putnam Counties, and Connecticut.
• Formulate and implement a detailed sales strategy aimed at achieving and surpassing student enrollment objectives.
• Foster and enhance relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders, including principals, teachers, counselors, and alumni, to position CIEE as the leading partner in global education.
• Proactively seek and engage in high-volume outreach to new schools to establish a sustainable pipeline.
• Lead, manage, and mentor direct reports (Enrollment Coordinators) to oversee the entire student sales process, from lead generation to student travel.
• Optimize conversion rates through effective communication and collaboration.
• Deliver captivating presentations to students, parents, and administrators, both in-person and virtually.
• Travel extensively within your region during the September-February sales season to represent CIEE at conferences and schools.
• Take full responsibility for the overall student enrollment pipeline.
• Keep precise records of all sales activities and the status of school relationships within our CRM system (e.g., Salesforce).
• At least 4 years of sales or relevant experience, demonstrating a successful history of building strong client relationships.
• Experience in international education or related K-12 sectors is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Spanish is preferred.
• Proven experience in sales leadership or management roles.
• A strong entrepreneurial mindset and a demonstrated ability to develop a sales territory.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the capacity to present effectively to large audiences.
• Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) for organizing and prioritizing a sales pipeline.
• Willingness to be a flexible team player, with a passion for education and a belief in the importance of global citizenship.
• Eagerness to travel extensively within your territory during the critical selling season.
