School Operations Data Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate and interpret assessment data concerning individual student success and the overall academic performance across all K-12 schools.

• Keep precise and confidential records of student achievement data.

• Facilitate data analysis training for teachers and administrators aimed at enhancing instruction and improving student learning outcomes.

• Utilize appropriate statistical methods for data analysis.

• Examine school and state data to identify comparison trends.

• Create and develop reports as needed for both internal and external stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science or a related field AND Two (2) years of experience as a data analyst OR an Equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Willingness to travel at least 25% of the time.

• Ability to successfully pass a required background check.

• Experience with Salesforce, specifically in handling data from various types of student assessments.

• Proficiency in managing large data sets, including analysis, interpretation, and visualization; Familiarity with SQL and Snowflake.

• Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and written skills; Proven initiative and capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously; Ability to engage positively with teachers, administrators, and support staff; Knowledge of the school improvement process is essential.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
