Scheduling System Coordinator – Ophthalmology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Oversee the scheduling systems for physicians, patients, providers, and staff.

• Initiate and manage electronic schedules for clinical, non-clinical, and surgical activities.

• Collaborate with clinical supervisors to enhance the effectiveness of the scheduling system.

• Create new functionalities and innovative applications of the system and implement system upgrades.

• Produce reports and comprehensive schedules for physicians, providers, patients, and staff.

• Align scheduling with billing IDX dictionaries.

• Provide troubleshooting assistance for all users of the system.

• Conduct audits to ensure efficient use of scheduling systems.

• Engage in department and university meetings to confirm that the scheduling system aligns with needs and objectives.

• May oversee designated staff members.

• High school diploma or an equivalent high school certification, or a combination of education and experience.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Medical Office Scheduling.

• Not Applicable skills.

• A driver's license is not necessary.
