SAP S/4HANA Security Consultant, Security Weaver, Pathlock

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee the SAP security strategy and implementation for the ECC S/4HANA brownfield transformation.

• Conduct role impact analysis, cleanup, and remediation tasks.

• Implement SU25 conversion steps and verify role functionality in S/4.

• Create and execute a Fiori-first security framework, including catalogs, groups, and business roles.

• Ensure the security of OData and SICF services.

• Set up and manage Security Weaver (Pathlock) controls, or align SAP GRC rule sets as needed.

• Transition SoD rule sets and control frameworks from ECC to S/4.

• Establish temporary compensating controls.

• Facilitate workshops with FI/CO/MM/SD/EWM functional teams, Basis, Development, and Audit.

• Assist with cutover procedures, security testing, and post-go-live authorization validation and stabilization.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 2–3 complete lifecycle ECC S/4HANA brownfield migration projects, with practical conversion experience.

• Direct, hands-on involvement in executing SU25 Phases 1–4 and role retrofit activities during the conversion.

• Experience in implementing Fiori security, including catalogs, groups, business roles, OData activation, and SICF.

• Large-scale enterprise role redesign and remediation experience; analysis and remediation of over 1,000 roles is preferred.

• Familiarity with SAP Readiness Check and Simplification Item Catalog impact analysis.

• Practical experience with Security Weaver (Pathlock) or SAP GRC Access Control for SoD analysis, simulation, remediation, and reporting.

• Strong knowledge of SoD rule design and risk mitigation strategies during the transition from ECC to S/4.

• Over 8 years of experience in SAP Security with ECC and S/4HANA.

• Proven success in 2 or more ECC S/4HANA brownfield conversions.

• Experience with Security Weaver (Pathlock) is highly preferred.

• Familiarity with SAP GRC Access Control in complex enterprise settings.

• Experience in SOX/ITGC-regulated environments and preparing audit evidence.

• Exceptional communication abilities and a proven capacity to lead cross-functional workshops.
