SAP Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of the end-to-end delivery for SAP implementation, integration, and rollout projects, spanning from scoping and planning to go-live and hypercare.

• Develop and oversee project plans, timelines, resource allocation, and budgets across multiple concurrent SAP engagements.

• Spearhead SAP projects for large enterprise clients with a turnover exceeding Rs. 1000 Cr.

• Identify and address project risks and issues, driving mitigation strategies to successful closure.

• Monitor and communicate project status, milestones, and RAID logs to leadership and client stakeholders.

• Lead requirement gathering, conduct configuration walkthroughs, and ensure alignment of business processes.

• Collaborate with functional consultants to convert client workflows into effective solution designs.

• Ensure that integrations are properly scoped, tested, and delivered.

• Inform project decisions by leveraging SAP S/4HANA architecture, modules, and implementation methodologies.

• Coordinate efforts among SAP functional consultants across FICO, MM, SD, and other relevant modules.

• Support upgrades, configuration changes, and optimization of the SAP landscape.

• Act as the primary liaison for enterprise client stakeholders and SAP/IT teams.

• Manage relationships with SAP implementation partners, System Integrators, and vendors.

• Facilitate updates for steering committees and conduct executive-level status reviews.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–10 years of overall experience, with a strong background in SAP project management or SAP MM functional delivery.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering end-to-end SAP projects for large enterprises with a turnover of Rs. 1000 Cr or more.

• Practical experience with SAP Material Management (MM), including handling Purchase Orders, GRNs, invoice postings, and debit note postings.

• Familiarity with the SAP S/4HANA architecture, implementation strategies, and functional capabilities.

• Strong foundational skills in project management, including planning, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder communication.

• Ability to reconcile business requirements with technical SAP solutions.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Capacity to engage effectively with senior client and internal leadership.

• A structured, detail-oriented approach to managing multiple projects simultaneously.

• Ability to work independently and drive successful outcomes.

• Preferred: Chartered Accountant (CA) certification.

• Preferred: Experience in fintech, SaaS, ERP, or enterprise product environments.

• Preferred: Knowledge of SAP FICO, SD, Ariba, or Treasury.
