SAP Plan-to-Deliver Solution Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany, +6 more countries.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the global SAP Manufacturing and Supply Chain domain, encompassing PP, QM, MM, warehouse, and logistics.

• Act as the primary IT liaison for global and sub-process owners within the Plan-to-Deliver domain.

• Convert business strategies and operational requirements into prioritized and sustainable SAP solutions.

• Promote process harmonization utilizing fit-to-standard and clean-core principles while overseeing deviations from the global template.

• Lead the Manufacturing and Supply Chain segment of the global S/4HANA transformation and rollout initiative.

• Direct solution decisions related to production planning, APO replacement, warehouse processes, and shop floor integration.

• Provide hands-on expertise in PP/PP-PI and associated Manufacturing & Supply Chain modules.

• Assist in solution design, implementation decisions, and complex problem resolution.

• Lead and nurture a geographically distributed team of SAP specialists.

• Oversee projects, enhancements, partner engagements, and support services with a focus on scope, quality, cost, risks, and service levels.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of ten years’ experience in SAP Manufacturing or Supply Chain application and delivery environments.

• Demonstrated hands-on expertise in SAP PP or PP-PI.

• Practical knowledge of MM, QM, WM, or EWM.

• Strong comprehensive understanding of production planning, materials management, warehousing, logistics, and related processes.

• Experience in delivering SAP implementations, international rollouts, process harmonization, or broader transformation projects.

• Proven leadership experience with a focus on managing international or geographically distributed SAP teams.

• Excellent stakeholder, partner, project management, and communication skills.

• Extensive functional expertise with the confidence to challenge experienced SAP professionals.

• Ability to blend strategic domain ownership with active participation in solution design, key implementation tasks, and operational challenges.

• A relevant university degree or equivalent professional experience.

• Proficient in English.

• A pragmatic, hands-on, and results-oriented approach.

• Interest in applied AI.

• Willingness to travel approximately 20% (up to 35% if based remotely).
