SAP MDG Technical

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Deliver hands-on L2/L3 technical assistance for SAP MDG Material Master

• Investigate and resolve production incidents associated with Change Requests, workflows, activations, validations/derivations, and replication

• Create and maintain MDG customizations, BAdIs, enhancements, and custom logic

• Provide support for BRF+ rules and development related to MDG workflows

• Troubleshoot issues related to MDG data models and staging/active areas

• Analyze failures in DRF and master data replication

• Conduct ABAP debugging to identify the root causes of technical issues

• Examine application logs, dumps, interfaces, and other technical errors

• Develop and implement fixes for production issues and minor enhancements

• Execute unit testing and support functional/regression testing activities

• Assist with transports, production deployments, and post-deployment validation

• Document root causes and solutions for recurring production problems

• Collaborate with teams in MDG Functional/Configuration, ABAP, Basis, integration, and S/4HANA

• Escalate complex technical challenges to the MDG Manager as needed

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience in SAP MDG-M / Material Master development

• Understanding of SAP MDG data model and Change Request framework

• Experience with BAdIs/enhancements and custom MDG development

• Knowledge of BRF+, workflows, validations, and derivations

• Familiarity with DRF and replication frameworks

• Proficient in ABAP/OO ABAP debugging techniques

• Knowledge of S/4HANA and Material Master

• Experience in integration/interface troubleshooting

• Strong skills in production support and root cause analysis
