This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Engage in requirement-gathering and fit-gap workshops with both client business and IT stakeholders.
• Convert business processes into SAP MM solution designs.
• Provide functional design and configuration across procure-to-pay, inventory management, valuation, and material master governance.
• Draft and evaluate functional specifications for RICEFW objects and assist technical teams through the build and unit testing phases.
• Lead decisions on standard versus custom designs in accordance with scalable, upgrade-safe SAP best practices.
• Prepare testing scenarios and assist with SIT, UAT, and regression testing, including defect triage and resolution.
• Plan and implement MM data migration for material master, business partner, info records, source lists, open POs, and stock balances.
• Configure and support the integration of SAP Ariba and S/4HANA, covering master data replication, transaction flows, and error management.
• Play a role in cutover planning and offer go-live and hypercare support.
• Collaborate directly with client process owners and IT leadership.
• Communicate progress and highlight risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Work alongside SD, FI/CO, PP, QM, PM, and Ariba teams on cross-functional designs.
• Aid in change management and enable end-user support.
• Independently complete assigned tasks with minimal oversight.
• Guide, assess, and mentor junior colleagues.
• Provide effort estimates, report on status, identify scope changes, submit change requests, and maintain timesheets and delivery tracking.
• Contribute to proposals, RFP responses, effort estimation, and client presentations.
• Identify opportunities for account expansion and develop reusable practice assets.
• Stay updated on the SAP roadmap, S/4HANA innovations, and cloud procurement solutions.
• Hands-on experience with S/4HANA Sourcing & Procurement, including simplification items, Business Partner conversion, MATNR field-length extension, and the material ledger.
• Familiarity with Fiori applications for procurement, embedded analytics, and role design.
• Practical experience using Migration Cockpit (LTMC/LTMOM) or legacy LSMW for data migration.
• Demonstrable implementation experience with one or more Ariba solutions — Sourcing, Contracts, Buying & Invoicing / Guided Buying, and Supplier Lifecycle & Performance (SLP).
• Knowledge of supplier onboarding, registration, qualification, and segmentation processes, including Ariba Network enablement for suppliers.
• Experience in catalogue management covering CIF catalogues, punch-out catalogues, and catalogue validation.
• Hands-on integration expertise between Ariba and SAP ERP / S/4HANA using CIG or SAP Integration Suite / CPI, including master data replication and cXML message flows, as well as monitoring failed transactions.
• Solid understanding of the complete Ariba–S/4HANA transaction cycle and the differences between ERP-integrated and standalone deployment models.
• Familiarity with realm setup, site configuration, transformation and mapping of custom fields, and Ariba release-cycle management.
• A minimum of four full-lifecycle SAP implementations, with at least one or two based on S/4HANA.
• At least one full implementation or integration project involving SAP Ariba.
• Working knowledge of SAP Activate and familiarity with Agile and hybrid delivery models.
• Experience in global rollout, template design, and localization is strongly preferred.
• Exposure to SAP Business Network for Supply Chain, Coupa, or Jaggaer is preferred.
• SAP Ariba solution certification and experience with Ariba Spend Analysis or Supply Chain Collaboration preferred.
• Understanding of Indian statutory requirements (GST, e-invoicing, e-way bill) and other regional localizations preferred.
• Exposure to SAP BTP, Integration Suite / CPI, and clean-core extensibility principles preferred.
