Billing and Implementation Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee the data migration process for new clients, ensuring accurate extraction, analysis, cleansing, and import of customer data.

• Utilize AI-driven tools and internal methodologies to outline project scope and execute imports with precision.

• Establish API integrations between Event Temple and PMS or other hotel technology systems.

• Accurately set up new customer accounts and manage user access.

• Create custom fields, menus, and account configurations tailored to each customer's specifications.

• Collaborate with the designated CSM throughout the implementation process, handling the technical aspects while they manage the client relationship.

• Identify and resolve any data or integration issues prior to and following the go-live phase.

• Develop and maintain comprehensive implementation documentation, including data specifications, integration guides, and process notes.

• Generate reports detailing import scopes, timelines, and any challenges encountered.

• Manage the entire subscription billing lifecycle, including renewals, invoicing, upgrades, downgrades, cancellations, and churn processing.

• Oversee collections for overdue accounts and work towards minimizing delinquent churn.

• Perform monthly billing audits to validate accuracy across all active accounts.

• Monitor and report on accounts receivable aging, collections rates, and delinquent churn, taking full responsibility for this reporting.

• Keep precise records in Stripe and HubSpot, addressing any billing discrepancies promptly.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience in a customer-facing position, ideally in B2B SaaS or Hospitality within implementation and billing functions.

• Understanding of CRM platforms (preferably HubSpot) and the intersection of billing and customer service workflows.

• Ideally, experience with data migration tools and methodologies.

• Capability to recognize process inefficiencies and propose enhancements.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

• Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities, focused on providing a positive client experience.

• Ability to operate effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines.

• A meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in data migration, account setups, and documentation.

• Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new tools, technologies, and processes in a dynamic environment.

• A passion for data and a commitment to helping customers succeed by ensuring a seamless onboarding experience.

• Preferred: Experience in configuring API integrations between SaaS platforms.

• Background in hotel sales and catering systems is advantageous.

• Practical experience with Stripe for subscription billing and collections.
