SAP Funds Management, General Ledger

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Design Funds Management and General Ledger solutions tailored to complex business needs.

• Offer strategic insights on new SAP technologies along with comprehensive tactical roadmaps.

• Configure and document SAP FM/GL functionalities and their integration with SAP FI/CO/AR/TM/SD/Assets modules.

• Connect SAP systems with USTRANSCOM enterprise systems, which include ERP and logistics applications.

• Record business requirements and develop thorough functional specifications.

• Create and maintain system configuration documents and overall system documentation.

• Assess scope and effort for maintenance and enhancement change requests.

• Engage in solution reviews and walkthroughs.

• Configure SAP FM/GL functionalities based on defined requirements.

• Test the end product's functionality and resolve functional issues alongside technical resources.

• Provide Tier II/Tier III support for system incidents and issues.

• Collaborate with SAP team members to ensure task completion and successful project delivery.

• Participate in SAFe Agile ceremonies and team activities.

• Assist with SAP enhancements, upgrades, and new implementations.

• Create training materials and facilitate knowledge transfer sessions.

• Document procedures, processes, and configurations within the system.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active DoD Secret clearance is required.

• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is necessary.

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in SAP implementation, enhancement, and O&M support.

• In-depth knowledge of SAP Funds Management (FM) and General Ledger (GL) configuration.

• Capability to configure SAP financial modules and comprehend cross-module integration points.

• Proficient in documenting requirements, developing functional specifications, and formulating system configuration documents.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

• Strong communication skills for presenting solutions and engaging stakeholders.

• Desired: Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementation or support.

• Desired: Familiarity with the Department of Treasury's Government Invoicing (G-Invoicing) processes.

• Desired: Experience in SAFe Agile methodology.

• Desired: Usability (UX/UI) design experience.

• Desired: Data Analytics experience with SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ) or Tableau.

• Desired: Experience supporting Department of Defense or federal government financial systems.

• Desired: Knowledge of federal financial management regulations and compliance requirements.
