SAP FI/CO Functional Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Deliver configuration, support, and maintenance for SAP FI/CO.

• Assist in the full Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes, encompassing billing, collections, revenue recognition, taxation, and credit management.

• Configure and provide support for SAP SD and MM modules, ensuring their integration with financial processes.

• Diagnose production issues and implement effective solutions.

• Facilitate Vertex O-Series tax solutions, along with tax configurations and integrations.

• Oversee PISA tickets, track issues, and enhance service delivery performance.

• Develop and update support documentation and operational procedures.

• Ensure adherence to banking and financial regulations.

• Assist with integration efforts related to acquisitions, mergers, and organizational transitions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance SAP processes continually.

• Partner closely with business stakeholders and development teams to deliver superior SAP solutions, improve system performance, and guarantee smooth business operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Over 4 years of direct experience with SAP S/4HANA.

• Proficient in SAP FI/CO configuration and support.

• Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and Procurement.

• Knowledge of Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes.

• Experience in managing PISA tickets and resolving incidents.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

• Proven ability to collaborate and work effectively in teams.

• Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

• Capability to work independently in a remote setting.

• Familiarity with integration points for SAP SD and MM.

• Experience in tax configurations and with Vertex O-Series.

• Knowledge of banking integrations and compliance procedures.

• Exposure to projects involving mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.

• SAP certifications in FI/CO or S/4HANA.

• Understanding of ITIL-based service management practices.
