SAP FICO Consultant, Financials & Controlling

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Configure SAP FI components, which encompass General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Bank/Cash Accounting.

• Design and maintain SAP CO modules, including Cost Element Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, and Profitability Analysis.

• Map intricate corporate finance processes, incorporating multi-currency configurations, global charts of accounts, parallel ledgers, and fiscal year variance management.

• Lead the design of the New General Ledger and direct the accounting document splitting mechanisms for segment reporting.

• Oversee automations for financial period-end closing, reconciliation troubleshooting, foreign currency revaluations, and consolidation processes.

• Collaborate with ABAP teams to develop functional specifications for RICEFW objects, user exits, custom financial layouts, and reporting tools.

• Integrate SAP FICO with SAP SD, MM, and PP to ensure real-time data flow across product costing and shipping triggers.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5 to 8 years of comprehensive SAP implementation experience.

• A minimum of 4+ years dedicated to actively designing and deploying configurations in SAP FICO.

• Strong practical expertise in SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA Finance table structures, configuration panels, and finance organizational models.

• Profound functional knowledge of corporate tax regulations, withholding tax configurations, asset depreciation lifecycles, and multi-company code clearing.

• Possession of the mandatory SAP Certified Application Associate certification in Financial Accounting or Management Accounting.

• Previous experience with S/4HANA migration projects is preferred.

• A strong analytical background in product costing (CO-PC) and material ledger configurations within manufacturing environments is preferred.
