This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Oversee the complete lifecycle of SAP EHS Dangerous Goods Management, which includes configuration, implementation, enhancements, and ongoing support.
• Develop, maintain, and publish dangerous goods data utilizing SAP Fiori applications within the SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition.
• Set up and manage compliance requirements through the Manage Compliance Requirements – Dangerous Goods application.
• Integrate SAP EHS Dangerous Goods with MM, SD, and TM for shipping processes, dangerous goods checks, and transport documentation.
• Update and maintain dangerous goods documents, such as delivery notes, packing lists, transport documents, and Tremcards, using SAPscript and phrase management.
• Ensure compliance with DOT, IATA, IMDG, ADR regulations, and manage exceptions like LQ and RQ.
• Configure dangerous goods checks across sales order, delivery, and transport processes.
• Manage SAP Fiori roles and catalogs.
• Collaborate with MM, SD, PP, and PM teams to integrate dangerous goods data into material masters, work centers, and functional locations.
• Assist in configuration management, change control, and federal security compliance requirements.
• Resolve EHS-DGP issues, including classification errors, absent master data, and integration failures across SD/MM/TM.
• Active DoD Secret clearance.
• Over 5 years of experience in SAP EHS, with a minimum of 3 years focused on EHS Dangerous Goods Management (EHS-DGP).
• Practical experience with SAP S/4HANA or SAP ERP EHS-DGP, including S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition and SAP Fiori applications.
• Strong expertise in dangerous goods master data, dynamic classification, and EHS-DGP basic/master data components.
• Familiarity with DG-related SAP Fiori applications (DGP1, DGPREL, EHDGM_CR_ENTRY_OIF).
• Knowledge of DOT, IATA, IMDG, ADR, and various DG regulatory frameworks.
• Experience in configuring DG checks in SAP SD and integrating DG processes with MM procurement and goods receipt.
• Understanding of Material Master, Classification, Engineering Change Management, Document Management, and Business Partner.
• Knowledge of dangerous goods document output using SAPscript and phrase management.
• Ability to operate within federal IT security standards, including controlled or classified environments.
• Desired: SAP EHS or SAP S/4HANA Environment, Health & Safety certification.
• Desired: Experience with SAP Product Safety and Stewardship and Product Compliance business catalogs.
• Desired: Familiarity with SAP TM Dangerous Goods Integration for multi-modal/cross-border shipments.
• Desired: Understanding of SAP’s transition from ECC Product Safety to S/4HANA Product Compliance, including roadmap timelines through the 2031 release.
• Desired: Experience with Hazardous Materials Management and Risk Management EHS components.
• Desired: Prior experience in federal agencies, defense contracting, or regulated government program environments.
