SAP Developer III

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct business and system analysis to facilitate the development of enterprise SAP applications.

• Convert business requirements and customer information into comprehensive technical designs.

• Collaborate with SAP Functional Consultants and client team members to assess solution alternatives, comprehend development needs, and suggest technical strategies.

• Create, modify, test, and maintain SAP ABAP programs within SAP ECC and S/4 HANA environments.

• Develop and maintain programming specifications, technical documentation, diagrams, and logic flowcharts for modifications and installations of enterprise applications.

• Generate quality technical solutions in line with development standards, conduct unit testing, and document test outcomes.

• Assist with enhancements, modifications, and new installations of enterprise applications.

• Travel up to 20% to support project activities, on-site meetings, and stakeholder interactions as necessary.

• Adhere to established development standards, coding best practices, quality assurance processes, and SAP Clean Core methodology principles.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 4 years of ABAP development experience; experience with S/4 HANA implementation is preferred.

• A Bachelor’s degree or certificate in MIS, Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or another technical field is preferred.

• SAP Certification in ABAP or FIORI is required; if not certified, certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire.

• Proficiency in RAP (RESTful Application Programming) ABAP for development in S/4 HANA is essential.

• Experience with development tools relevant to S/4 HANA is highly desirable.

• Strong understanding of S/4 HANA architecture, SAP Clean Core methodology, and SAP extensibility concepts.

• Familiarity with new ABAP features and RESTful Application Programming concepts.

• Proven experience in enterprise application development, including design, coding, and testing.

• Experience working with the Department of Defense or another federal agency is advantageous.

• U.S. Citizenship is required for obtaining government clearance.
