SAP Datasphere, SAP BW/4HANA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Create and implement comprehensive data models, data flows, and transformation logic within SAP Datasphere and SAP BW/4HANA.

• Design and deploy SAP HANA-native solutions, which include calculation views, stored procedures, and optimized data models.

• Lead initiatives for data migration and harmonization from legacy BW systems to BW/4HANA and SAP Datasphere.

• Construct and oversee data integration pipelines utilizing SAP Data Intelligence, SAP Integration Suite, or external ETL tools.

• Work closely with business stakeholders to convert analytical requirements into effective technical solutions.

• Execute performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting across the SAP HANA platform.

• Engage in SAP S/4HANA embedded analytics projects, utilizing CDS views and OData services.

• Guide junior team members and assist in knowledge sharing and skill enhancement within the team.

• Aid in pre-sales efforts, including solution scoping, effort estimation, and proposal creation.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–8 years of practical experience with SAP BW (BW 7.x / BW/4HANA) and SAP HANA.

• Expertise in SAP Datasphere, covering the business layer, data layer, data flows, and federation scenarios.

• Strong knowledge of ABAP (specific to BW) and SQL/SQLScript for HANA development.

• Experience with the integration of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), including story development and planning models.

• Thorough understanding of dimensional modeling, star schemas, InfoProviders, and best practices in data warehousing.

• Practical experience with SAP LT Replication Server (SLT), SAP Data Services, or SAP Data Intelligence.

• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA embedded analytics, CDS views, and virtual data models (VDM).
