SAP Consultant HCM, German

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Assess HR business needs and convert them into SAP HCM solutions.

• Configure, maintain, and provide support for SAP HCM modules, including Personnel Administration (PA), Organizational Management (OM), and Time Management (PT).

• Assist with payroll processes (PY), addressing country-specific payroll requirements.

• Facilitate Employee and Manager Self-Services (ESS/MSS) and associated HR workflows.

• Participate in implementation, rollout, upgrade, and migration projects, including SAP HCM for S/4HANA (H4S4) and hybrid SAP SuccessFactors scenarios.

• Create functional specifications and work alongside ABAP developers on enhancements and reporting.

• Investigate incidents, resolve issues, and offer solutions in 2nd/3rd level support.

• Organize and assist with testing activities while maintaining functional documentation.

• Collaborate with German-speaking HR stakeholders, technical teams, and other SAP consultants.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of practical experience as an SAP HCM consultant.

• Strong knowledge of PA, OM, and PT.

• Payroll experience (PY) is highly advantageous.

• Solid understanding of HR processes, including hiring, organizational changes, time recording, and payroll.

• Familiarity with infotypes, personnel actions, schemas/rules, or HR authorizations is beneficial.

• Experience with SAP SuccessFactors integration or SAP HCM for S/4HANA is a plus.

• Basic technical knowledge, including debugging and reading ABAP logic, is an advantage.

• Proficient in German (minimum B2), both written and spoken.

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and thrive in international, multicultural teams.
