SAP Consultant – Application Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Assisting in the deployment of SAP as the primary general ledger system at XTB,

• Converting business requirements related to accounting, controlling, and procurement into SAP configuration and system processes,

• Collaborating closely with external implementation partners and critically assessing proposed solutions for quality and business alignment,

• Partnering with teams in Accounting, Finance, Procurement, and Technology,

• Facilitating data migration, integrations, and data flows between SAP and other systems,

• Configuring, maintaining, and enhancing SAP processes post-implementation,

• Taking responsibility for assigned topics, recognizing risks, and suggesting solutions,

• Contributing to the ongoing development of the SAP environment at XTB.

⛳️ Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of SAP from the viewpoint of financial systems, particularly as a general ledger system,

• Practical experience in executing SAP implementations from the ground up within an organization,

• Solid understanding of accounting and controlling processes, including general ledger, chart of accounts, and accounting configuration,

• Capability to transform business requirements into SAP configuration and system solutions,

• Experience in configuring and sustaining SAP processes internally,

• Familiarity with integrating SAP with other systems and managing financial data flows,

• Ability to evaluate and question solutions provided by external vendors,

• Strong analytical skills coupled with a project-oriented approach,

• Excellent communication abilities and the capacity to collaborate with demanding business stakeholders, particularly in Accounting and Finance teams,

• Demonstrated ownership, proactivity, and a structured work methodology.
