SAP BTP/UI5 Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain SAP applications using the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).

• Create SAP Fiori applications leveraging SAPUI5, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and XML.

• Construct responsive and intuitive user experiences in accordance with SAP Fiori Design Guidelines.

• Develop and integrate OData services for the seamless integration of SAP applications.

• Design and improve ABAP programs, reports, classes, enhancements, CDS Views, and APIs to support SAP applications.

• Build applications utilizing the SAP Business Application Studio.

• Work collaboratively with functional teams to convert business requirements into effective technical solutions.

• Engage in technical design sessions and propose scalable cloud-based architectures.

• Conduct unit testing, troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization.

• Assist with deployments, production releases, and post-implementation processes.

• Generate and maintain technical documentation in line with development standards.

• Take part in Agile development ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Over 5 years of experience in SAP development.

• Proficient in developing applications on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).

• Extensive experience with SAPUI5 and SAP Fiori application development.

• Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, XML, and responsive web development.

• Strong background in ABAP development.

• Experience in developing and consuming OData services.

• Knowledge of CDS Views and ABAP on HANA.

• Proficient in using SAP Business Application Studio.

• Understanding of SAP Gateway architecture.

• Experience with Git or other version control systems.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Must be eligible to obtain a US security clearance (US citizenship required).
