SAP BODS Data Conversion

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee project requirements, comprehend client needs in data migration, and offer solutions utilizing industry-leading best practices.

• Facilitate blueprint sessions to establish project scope, objectives, data quality requirements, and formulate a data migration strategy.

• Direct a team for data conversion, plan and implement mock data loads, and collaborate with all stakeholders to develop a cutover strategy and plan.

• Mentor team members by providing technical guidance, conducting solution reviews, performing code reviews, and overseeing delivery.

• Maintain high standards of project quality while adhering to firm principles.

• Engage in practice development activities and motivate teams to create innovative solutions that improve delivery efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in technology or Engineering.

• 9-14 years of experience with prior project leadership experience and strong technical expertise in data migration.

• A minimum of 3 full-cycle S4HANA data conversion experiences using SAP BODS and SAP DMC.

• Proficiency in both oral and written English is essential.

• Experience in leading a data conversion team and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

• Ability to design data migration solutions and transformation routines.

• Provide advisory services regarding data management strategies.

• Experience in migrating data from SAP ECC to S4HANA, along with proficiency in data source analysis, profiling, and developing data cleansing strategies.

• Experience in delivery using SAP Migration Cockpit and customization with LTMOM.

• Conduct preload and post-load validation, as well as reconciliation of migration results.

• Working knowledge of ABAP dataflows, file generation, delta load design, and interfacing with SFTP and Amazon S3.

• Data extraction from various source systems such as ECC and Oracle EBS through direct connectivity and RFC/BAPI-based extraction.

• Extensive experience in SAP ETL solutions and integration technologies.

• Proficiency in SAP BODS, SAP DMC (including LTMOM), SQL, and Information Steward.
