SAP BI/BW Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Assist with data analytics and business reporting initiatives, encompassing prototyping, testing, and design.

• Aid global business operations with essential reporting and analytics outputs.

• Engage in data acquisition, modeling, mapping, design, and analysis tasks.

• Conduct evaluations and designs of data sources, along with data cleansing, preparation, ETL development, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

• Create and develop business rules.

• Design relational and dimensional data models.

• Generate and help maintain technical and user documentation for integrations and applications.

• Manage incidents, requests, and other support tasks following the standard ITSM lifecycle.

• Automate repetitive tasks to enhance efficiency.

• Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to critical operational issues and business needs.

• Execute other related responsibilities as assigned.

• 3–5 years of experience in SAP technology, primarily with SAP BW/4HANA and secondarily with SAP BOBJ.

• Capability to operate independently and collaborate as part of a cross-functional team globally.

• Eagerness to learn and innovate new solutions.

• Strong enthusiasm for applications, analytics, and enhancing end-user productivity.

• Outstanding customer service orientation.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related field from an accredited university (preferred).

• Master's degree in computer science engineering from an accredited institution (desired).

• Experience in SAP BI/BW and BW/4HANA development and production support.

• Familiarity with SAP Business Objects development and production support (desirable).

• Experience with BODS (desirable).

• Development of CDS views in S/4HANA (desirable).

• Comprehensive understanding of SAP Business Intelligence tools, including BW, BW/4HANA, and BOBJ.

• Proficiency in troubleshooting and supporting SAP BI solutions.

• Ability to prepare and validate BI solution designs, covering data flows, data sources, reporting, and planning features.

• Strong knowledge of SAP BI data architecture, star schema, and OLAP reporting models.

• Experience with SAP ERP application, data, and processes (desired).
