SAP Basis Consultant – Advanced Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Comprehensive administration and support for multiple SAP systems in production environments, including daily SAP Basis tasks.

• Installation, upgrades, patch application, and maintenance of SAP components (ECC, BI/BO, PI, Solution Manager, Portal, etc.).

• Advanced management of SAP HANA and Oracle databases, including high availability, replication, monitoring, and performance optimization.

• Coordination with infrastructure and operating system teams to ensure properly sized, stable, and optimized environments.

• Execution of system copies, export/import tasks, new instance installations, and general maintenance.

• Management of SAP change transport, along with configuration and monitoring of backup and monitoring solutions, including restorations.

• Administration of SAP security (users, roles, and authorizations).

• Handling of complex incidents, troubleshooting, and coordination with SAP for resolution.

• Definition, maintenance, and documentation of operational procedures and SAP Basis standards.

• Collaboration in the design and evolution of SAP technical architecture, providing technical input to ensure scalability and robustness.

• Support for knowledge transfer and continuity of service.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 15 years of experience in SAP Basis administration.

• Strong experience in SAP HANA and HANA Enterprise DB, including high availability configurations.

• Extensive experience with SAP products such as ECC, BO/BI, PI, Portal, Solution Manager, SLT, SRM, CRM, Fiori, GRC, among others.

• Experience in Oracle database administration.

• Knowledge in Linux operating systems administration.

• Good understanding of SAP Security and networking concepts.

• Ability to work in complex and distributed technical environments.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and incident resolution skills.

• Good oral and written communication skills.

• Fluent level of English.

• SAP, Oracle, and/or HANA certifications are a plus.

• Experience in global SAP implementation programs.
