SAP Basis Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collect business and technical requirements while documenting both current-state and target-state processes.

• Configure, develop, integrate, or manage the enterprise platform in alignment with approved design standards.

• Oversee interfaces, data conversion, reporting, security, and process dependencies.

• Plan and carry out unit, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.

• Assist with deployments, user adoption, issue resolution, and ongoing process enhancement.

• Contribute to the creation of reliable and maintainable solutions throughout the delivery lifecycle.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, business users, technical teams, and external partners.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years in a relevant professional position.

• Hands-on experience with SAP Basis, system administration, transports, upgrades, HANA, monitoring, performance, and SAP technical operations.

• Background in implementing, developing, administering, or supporting the enterprise platform specified in the job title.

• Strong comprehension of pertinent business processes and the platform’s core capabilities.

• Experience in gathering requirements, configuring or developing solutions, and documenting decisions made.

• Knowledge of integrations, data flows, testing, and production support.

• Capacity to collaborate with business users, technical teams, and external partners.

• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

• U.S. Citizens, Green Card holders, EAD holders, and H-1B transfer candidates are eligible; new H-1B sponsorship is not available.

• Direct W2 employment; not open to C2C or 1099 arrangements.

• Preferred: additional hands-on experience in SAP Basis, system administration, transports, upgrades, HANA, monitoring, performance, and SAP technical operations.

• Preferred: familiarity with cloud services, automation, and modern delivery methodologies.

• Preferred: knowledge of secure development, accessibility, governance, or regulatory requirements.

• Preferred: relevant professional certifications or advanced training.
