SAP ABAP Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, maintain, enhance, and support SAP ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, forms, enhancements, and custom applications throughout the SAP landscape.

• Develop and maintain forms using SmartForms, Adobe Forms, and SAPscript.

• Construct and sustain SAP integrations with external systems utilizing IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, APIs, and web services.

• Create custom solutions leveraging the Enhancement Framework as well as implicit and explicit enhancements.

• Generate and optimize ABAP reports, data extraction programs, and other custom developments.

• Resolve ABAP-related incidents, production issues, and change requests across L1.5–L3 support tiers.

• Perform code reviews, debugging, root-cause analysis, and performance tuning.

• Assist with SAP S/4HANA migration and modernization projects.

• Partner with functional consultants and business teams to convert requirements into technical solutions.

• Maintain technical documentation, adhere to development standards, and manage transport activities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Over 3 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development and support, including engagement with RICEFW objects such as reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflows.

• Proven experience in supporting production SAP environments and providing L1.5–L3 support for SAP development incidents and change requests.

• Proficient in ABAP Objects (OOABAP), SAP Data Dictionary, and Function Modules.

• Familiarity with SAP integration technologies, including BAPIs, RFCs, IDocs, web services, and API integrations.

• Experience in developing SAP forms using SmartForms, Adobe Forms, and SAPscript.

• Strong SQL skills, including the ability to optimize database performance and tune ABAP applications for enhanced performance.

• Experience contributing to SAP S/4HANA migration and modernization projects.

• History of collaborating with SAP functional consultants and business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.

• Proficient fluency in English.
