Sample Collector/Phlebotomist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Attend scheduled appointments at various locations in and around the Cwmbran area.

• Travel to appointments within a 2-hour radius from home.

• Deliver professional services for hair, blood, and DNA sample collection.

• Build and nurture relationships with clients and donors as the public representative of Lextox.

• Implement the company’s Quality Management System requirements and assist in sustaining ISO 17025 accreditation.

• Conduct collections in a safe, healthy, and low-risk manner.

• Provide statements of truth during the collection process.

⛳️ Requirements

• Professionally qualified Phlebotomist.

• Recent experience with various venepuncture techniques, mainly vacutainer and butterfly.

• Capability to collect samples in non-clinical environments.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Full UK Driving Licence.

• Access to a vehicle with business insurance.

• At least 2 years of experience in Phlebotomy following qualification.

• Evidence of Phlebotomy competency may be required.

• Hepatitis B vaccination is mandatory.

• Enhanced DBS check is required.

• Desirable: experience working within the NHS or Blood Service.

• Desirable: experience in collecting hair and DNA samples.
