Sample Collector, Phlebotomist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Attend scheduled appointments at various locations within a 2-hour radius of your home in and around Middlesbrough.

• Deliver professional services for the collection of hair, blood, and DNA samples.

• Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients and donors.

• Adhere to the company's Quality Management System requirements.

• Assist in upholding ISO17025 accreditation.

• Ensure that collections are performed in a safe, healthy, and low-risk manner.

• Provide statements of truth at the time of collection.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a professionally qualified Phlebotomist.

• Recent experience with various venepuncture techniques, primarily vacutainer and butterfly methods.

• Capability to collect samples in non-clinical environments.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• A valid UK Driving Licence is required.

• Access to a vehicle with business insurance is necessary.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience in Phlebotomy.

• Evidence of Phlebotomy competency may be requested.

• Proof of Hepatitis B vaccination is mandatory.

• An Enhanced DBS check is required.

• Experience within the NHS or Blood Service is preferred.

• Experience in collecting hair and DNA samples is a plus.
