Sample Collector – Phlebotomist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Attend scheduled appointments at various sites in and around Middlesbrough, within a 2-hour radius from home.

• Deliver professional services for the collection of hair, blood, and DNA samples.

• Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients and donors.

• Adhere to the company's Quality Management System requirements and assist in upholding ISO 17025 accreditation.

• Ensure that collections are carried out in a safe, healthy, and low-risk manner.

• Provide statements of truth at the time of collection.

• Conduct sample collections at solicitors’ offices, local authority offices, or the homes of donors.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a professionally qualified Phlebotomist.

• Recent experience with various venepuncture techniques, primarily vacutainer and butterfly.

• Capability to collect samples in non-clinical environments.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Valid Full UK Driving Licence.

• Access to a vehicle with business insurance.

• At least 2 years of post-qualification experience in Phlebotomy.

• Proof of Phlebotomy competency may be requested.

• Hepatitis B vaccination is mandatory.

• An enhanced DBS check is required.

• Experience working within the NHS / Blood Service is desirable.

• Experience in collecting hair and DNA samples is considered a plus.
